Last week for YCA Thursday’s class, we learned about Shutter Speed. Our students had to coordinate their shutter settings with moving objects. They got to work with shutter speeds ranging from 15″-1/2500. See below for some of our photos taken that day. YCA Intermediate-week 1
For our first YCA Intermediate class, we explored the topic of “Human Exploitation”. Students watched “Poverty in Paradise” where they got to discuss and debate on what they they felt were key problems and social issues on the island.

Last week for our YCA Thursday class, we focused on aperture and exposure. Our students got to work with black and white backgrounds, learning how shades can absorb and reflect light.
